The pairing menu includes peaches and house ham, peach-basil ravioli with pickled peaches and hazelnuts, and a pork belly corndog with pecan mostarda. DOWNTOWN — To honor the return of The Book of Mormon to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Range will continue their ongoing Theatre Cocktail series by featuring a cocktail inspired by the musical. "The Virgin" can be a mocktail or cocktail and contains lemons, sage leaves, simple syrup salt, club soda and an option splash of Ketel One Citron vodka. The venue also offers a complimentary valet service for those choosing to grab a pre-show meal at range that allows them to leave their car at the hotel during the show.
LODO — Calling all Dr. Seuss fans! Hopdoddy Burger Bar has created a Dr. Seuss approved burger special; the Green Eggs & Ham Burger. Even The Cat in the Hat is dying to nibble on this beef patty that is topped with a fried egg, manchego cheese, sliced prosciutto, onions, lettuce, tomato and a tossed arugula salad. Not to mention a dollop of salsa verde to give it a little kick. This creative concoction is $11 and will be available until Sunday, August 23.
LAKEWOOD — The second farmers market at the Lamar Station Plaza in Lakewood will take place on Wednesday, August 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. This market will feature local produce from Miller Farms, food, music, arts & crafts, activities, and a good time for the whole family. Attendees can even grab a classic Colorado Mexican dinner since the location of this plaza happens to be the parking lot of the infamous Casa Bonita.
