It's been a long and convoluted road but David Burke Group announced that it had reached a settlement with the ownership group of 204 South Galena Street LLC, the developer of the building which houses David Burke Kitchen. A legal dispute delayed severely the restaurant which is now slated to open in November.

The Aspen outpost of the New York City-based restaurant is helmed by executive chef Matthew O'Neill, formerly the executive chef at the Ajax Tavern in the Little Nell hotel. The restaurant is focused on a modern American style of cooking, featuring all-American ingredients with items sourced locally in Colorado along with an inspired beverage program and crafted cocktails.
