BOULDER — Frasca Food and Wine will host Steve Lewis of Bodegas Muga, one of the best producers of traditional Rioja. Pours will include the strawberry-scented Rosado, followed by the Rioja Reserva, and ending with the legendary Gran Reserva Prado Enea. Cost is $50 per person for the four-course tasting menu and an optional $50-55 for the wine flight. To make a reservation, call 303.442.6966.

BALLPARKWhiskey Tango Foxtrot’s featured August "Foxtail" is the refreshing Barbados cocktail. Made with Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Velvet Falernum and lime juice, this cocktail is the perfect end of summer drink to sip on. Guests are also encouraged to enjoy the restaurant’s rooftop patio while the weather is still warm.

LODOHopdoddy’s baker has created the latest special at the burger joint: A cinnamon roll shake. From now until August 30, guests can enjoy the shake made from handmade ice cream, cinnamon butter, cream cheese icing, cinnamon sugar, mini cinnamon roll bites and of course a topping of whipped cream. The special can be purchased for $6.

WESTMINSTER — Olathe is the word at Kachina Southwestern Grill this season, because chef Jeff Bolton is now featuring a variety of dishes with Olathe sweet corn. Bolton has created everything from a quinoa corn pudding side with bison meatloaf to corn salsa with the chipotle shrimp and waffles. The restaurant also offers "Corn on the Cart" items where a traveling cart delivers grilled corn table-side.
