Cherry Creek's dining scene is getting close to adding a new seafood centric restaurant to its mix. Blue Island Oyster Bar, a new venture from the team who created Humboldt Farm, Fish and Wine will open in the new 250 Columbine development on September 21.

The self-described "Dock to Dish" concept aims to bring a fun, lively, casual venue serving East Coast inspired seafood dishes. The kitchen will offer a variety of oysters, some of which the divers at Blue Island Oyster Co. gather by hand from its own farmed and wild-caught oyster farm in New York. The menu, curated by executive chef DJ Nagle, will feature sharable seaside classics, modern preparations and Colorado favorites made up of lobster rolls, crudos, burgers, fresh fish flown in daily, chowders, salads and more.

A full bar menu, including wine, beer, and cocktails will also be offered. Blue Island Oyster Bar will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
