Alpine Modern Cafe Rocks the Avocado Toast in Boulder

The new coffee and casual eatery is now open seven days a week.

Alpine Modern Cafe is now in full swing in Boulder in a bright and contemporary space once home to hippie grocery store Delilah. Located at 904 College Avenue, the cafe and casual eatery is nothing short of irresistible.

High ceilings and a barn-like roof outfitted with skylights create a light-filled room where wooden tables and an L-shaped banquette invite guests to linger. White walls, large windows, contemporary art, and a stunning tiled floor add details to a the room that has a mid-mod light fixture as its centerpiece, set over an inviting community table. The espresso bar is a stunner and the guest service area is thoughtfully functional, with compartments for recycling and composting.

The coffee beans used at Alpine Modern Cafe come from two Denver local roasters: MiddleState Coffee and Huckleberry Roasters. Mornings bring a well-edited food menu that includes pastries from Izzio's and a few irresistible dishes made in-house, including the warm quinoa porridge and a variety of tartines, with the avocado one being a must-have. From 11 a.m. to close, guests can enjoy several sandwiches served on baguettes, as well as a quinoa salad and some sweet items.

Here's a more interactive peek into the new spot, posted on Facebook.
