BOULDER — The Boulder Farmers Market will host its first-ever Stone Fruit Festival on Saturday, August 8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will feature a peach tasting with varieties grown on Colorado orchards, cooking demonstrations with the Kitchen, a peach poetry contest, a bake-off, and peach-inspired breakfast and lunch dishes. Kids can even look forward to face painting, jewelry-making, yard games, and farmers market coloring. Look for the festival at 13th Street and Canyon Boulevard.
SOUTH BROADWAY — Lena will participate in The LGBT Center and Leigh Sullivan Enterprise's collaborative Out on the Town Brunch Series on Saturday, August 8. The Bean will donate 20% of their brunch revenue back to Thes Center, specifically the Transgender Programs and Rainbow Alley. DOWNTOWN — Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen will celebrate its 5th Anniversary on Sunday, August 9 with their friends from A.D. Laws Whiskey House and TRVE Brewing Company. Starting at 4 p.m., this ‘Afternoon Delight’ will include a 5-course menu paired with brews from TRVE and special whiskeys from A.D. Cost is $75 per person and can seats can be reserved online.
CHERRY CREEK — The bRUNch running group will host a meal at True Food Kitchen on Sunday, August 9 from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. A ticket includes the run, an all-inclusive meal with two drinks, tax and gratuity and a $1 donation to local nonprofit, Metro Caring.
