The Copper Hound Packed Up and Closed

The coffee shop offered high quality caffeine on a side of town that lacks in options.

Six months into its life, Copper Hound's owner Aaron Underwood pulled the plug and closed his coffee shop located in a strip mall at 2137 South Sheridan Boulevard.

In the large suburban space, 2700 square feet, Underwood hoped to attract meet-up groups, business presentations, and neighborhood game nights all while brewing coffee using Commonwealth Coffee beans. The spot did attract a loyal clientele, but apparently that was not enough to continue operating. One thing is certain: The departure of Copper Hound leaves a hole in the coffee scene in South Denver.
