A Denver institution for over two decades, the Denver Diner will return later this month after nearly a year-long closure, the Denver Post reported. A hood fire prompted the initial closure, but much more than that was fixed. The full remodel racked up a bill that is just around 1.4 million dollars. There is new equipment, and lighting, and flooring, a liquor license and even a couple of new menu items like the creamy Cajun chicken pasta and shrimp.
One thing that hasn't changed is the old school cash register at the front and the hours of operations: 24/7, except for Christmas.
