Il Porcellino Salumi Gets Super Close to Opening

New, 2 comments

The small and quaint space is nearly ready!

A new retail shop and eatery centered around cured meats is nearing its opening in the Berkeley neighborhood. Il Porcellino Salumi, brainchild of Bill Miner and Brian Albano, will open in the former Tennyson Hardware building at West 41st Avenue and Tennyson Street.

The new attraction focused on whole animal butchery will offer its cured meats but also a variety of items like sandwiches, soups, and salads to enjoy inside the minimalist space or to carry out. Acting as a small grocer, il Porcellino will also offer cheeses, jams and jellies, crackers, and other specialty food items.

Stay tuned for an official opening date.
