Long-time Boulder resident Michael DeBoer and his wife and partner Lori are living their dream of owning a restaurant, albeit on wheels. Beginning with a lifelong love affair with cooking and food, years of experience in the restaurant industry, and a 1984 commercial truck, the DeBoer duo's dream is now a reality in the form of The French Twist food truck.
The truck is dressed in its finest French cottage look with pastel coloring and a wooden fence border. The menu is composed of French cuisine classics like escargot, frog Provencal, croque madame, ratatouille, salad Lyonnaise, and a variety of crepes. The prices are extremely reasonably for such fare, ranging from $3.50 - $12 an item.
The French-inspired restaurant-on-wheels can be found at various locations around Boulder including Upslope Brewery, The Bitter Bar, Sanitas Brewing Company, Wild Woods, and Liquid Mechanics.
