Dave Mischell, owner of Backcountry Delicatessen, is taking his sandwich shop to the Tech Center, Business Den reported. This fifth outpost of the Steamboat-born business will launch by the end of the year at the cross of I 25 and I 225.
In a 2,200 square foot space with seating for 40 inside and another 40 on the patio, the eatery will bring its outdoor-themed sandwiches, salads and soups like the "Basecamp" and "High Plains" to the suburbs. Mischell is planning to open a total of 15 stores, an endeavor that costs $500,000 every time a new franchise opens.
