The first ever Sunnyside beer stroll will be winding its way through the breweries of the neighborhood all weekend long. Strollers can start the walking tour at any one of the popular breweries in the area like Diebolt, Denver Beer Co. Canworks, or Factotum. Prize giveaways, beer releases, and firkins will surely make this a walk to remember.
OKTOBERFEST ON OLD SOUTH PEARL
On Saturday, September 26 head down to South Pearl to celebrate Oktoberfest. The 1500 block will be replete with Oktoberfest-style beers, brats, live music, and games. The fun kicks off at 1 p.m. and runs throughout the evening.
FUNKY BRUNCH AT GRANDMA'S HOUSE
The comedic brunch event featuring some of Denver's best local comedians is going down this Saturday from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m at the south Broadway brewery. Grandma's ready for fun with beers, food trucks, music, and laughs.
NEW BELGIUM'S WHISKEY SOUR BARREL HOUR
New Belgium's Lauren Salazar and Leopold Brothers' Todd Leopold will be joining forces on Saturday at Ophelia's to do a guided tasting of fruited whiskeys from the local distillery and corresponding barrel aged sours from New Belgium. Not ready to tackle a beer and whiskey tasting at 1 p.m.? Chef Daniel Asher will help keep you grounded with four courses to be enjoyed alongside the whiskey and barrel aged brews.
The bus picks up at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning from the Hyatt Regency Denver and escorts participants on a unique beer experience in Lyons. Enjoy meals, beers, demonstrations, and more before heading back to Denver at 3 p.m.
DENVER BICYCLE CAFE HANGOVER BREAKFAST
The Uptown cafe will be airing the results of GABF winners on the projection screen over a nice breakfast of coffee, eggs, potatoes, and beer. Beermosas, hipstermakers (beer and espresso), and filling food will cure just about any hangover lingering from the first two nights of the festival.
