After months of delays, Ink! Coffee is getting ready to bring its RiNo-roasted beans to the Bonnie Brae area. The coffee-centric operation founded by Keith 'Herbie' Herbert will open a new outpost in a shared space with a bike shop at 709 South University Avenue. The interior is filled with natural light and features artwork by local artist, Kristen Zimmerman. A large patio adds extra seating for sunny days.

The new store will bring specialty coffee drinks, tea, and other beverages along with variety of snacks and food items. A highlight is the introduction of Froozers to the Denver market. The frozen food products are made of 100% whole fruits and vegetables and contain no juices, concentrates, purees, or engineered ingredients. Froozers are basically just natural fruits and veggies with nothing added, not even water. That makes them gluten-free, kosher, vegan and non-GMO.

A soft opening with free coffee, beer, and wine will take place on Oct 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is open to the public.
