A family business, Arvada Beer Company shuttered after a little over four years in business, Westword reported. We have confirmed that the closure is permanent. Owned by husband-and-wife team Cary and Kelly Floyd, the brewery launched at 5600 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard in October 2011 in a 95-year-old historic brick building that had been gutted and restored.
The small town is going through some changes: By the end of the month, Kline Beer Hall will open in the former D Note space and sometime in the spring, Steuben's will open a location at 7355 Ralston Road. Outposts of GB Fish and Chips and Tap & Dough will also join the fray later this year.
