Englewood Grand, a new bar, is opening at 3435 South Broadway late in February, Westword reported. The project is the brainchild of Phil and Erika Zierke, who are Englewood residents looking for a gathering place for the community.
The duo is not new to the industry; both have experience in the bartending scene and Phil's resume includes stints at the Green Russell and Mercantile Dining & Provision. The new attraction will feature beer and spirits plus a chalkboard list of house cocktails, Crock-pot-style offerings — along the lines of vegetarian chili and loose-meat sandwiches will complement the food.
