Pica's Taqueria at 5360 Arapahoe Ave. in Boulder has experienced taco greatness in the Front Range since its inauguration in 2010, as well as at its original location in Jackson Hole, Wyoming since 2001. The story of the beloved Pica's Taqueria is one that spans years and great distances, and will now continue with the announcement of the newest location opening at 901 Front St. in Louisville this spring.
Andy Parazette, Pica's executive chef owner, gathered his inspiration from years of cooking in Los Angeles' vibrant food scene, as well as his college years in Santa Barbara, frequenting the famed taqueria, La Super Rica, for sustenance and inspiration. The draw to the mountains brought Parazette to Jackson Hole and eventually to Boulder, where he partnered with Trent Davol in ownership of the taqueria.
The two are incredibly excited to bring Pica's Louisville into existence sometime this spring. Stay tuned for more details as the opening approaches.
