Coperta Begins Lunch Service
The second act from the Beast + Bottle team, Coperta, just started lunch service in its Uptown home. Chef Paul Reilly offers antipasti like the Roman-style fried artichokes, salads like the Panzanella, six kinds of pasta primi, four different panini, and several main courses (secondi), including the eggplant Parmiggiana. A "power lunch" menu mixes and matches a variety of dishes in smaller portions.
Blue Island Oyster Bar Starts Oysterfest, Brings on New Chef
The Blue Island Oyster Bar led by its new executive chef, Joe Troupe, formerly of Amass, has launched multiple promotions that kick off Oysterfest. Bubbles & Bivalvesincludes a bottle of Evolution sparkling wine and 1 dozen premium oysters for just $30, while the second month-long feature is the $2 Oyster of the Day featuring a premium oyster. Through the 10th, there are great deals on Oysters Rockefeller, then from the 11th to the 20th, there is a special on Oyster Stew. More specials close off the month and usher in November. Expanded Brunch Hours and a New Menu at Beatrice & Woodsley
Set in one of Denver’s most beautifully designed and unique spaces, Beatrice & Woodsley recently launched a new brunch menu and expanded brunch hours. Items from the new menu include apple pie pancakes, asparagus Benedict on toasted ciabatta; brûléed grapefruit with sweet-salted almond and olive oil crumb; and pimento cheese grits with arugula and tomato salad.
Blue Sushi Sake Grill Brings Back Old Favorites
Starting Monday, October 17 and through the end of the month, guests will be able to switch up their normal sushi routine and throw in some of Blue's oldies but goodies. The menu will feature the following six rolls: Maui Roll, Tan Roll, Three Amigos, Hot Night, Fiesta Roll and Silly Rabbit.
