Not all Sweets Week news are sweet. One of Denver’s most unique bakeries, Persian-inspired Pebbles, located at 2160 South Holly Street, is dealing with some serious changes. A post on the site of the business informs customers that due to personal circumstances, the bakery is up for sale.

Only fourteen months old, Pebbles specializes in Sangak, a Persian whole wheat sourdough flat bread. The name "Sang" means pebble in Farsi and the whole word "Sangak" means little pebbles. This bread is baked on a bed layer of pebbles in a rotary oven. Many other desserts, including the Napoleon (a mille-feuille) and the pistacchio baklava gained the spot a loyal audience.

Here are the details on the sale:

Dear Loyal Customers and Fans,

It is with deep regret I inform you that due to personal reasons Pebbles is now up for sale. We hope the new owners will enjoy your company as much as we did. We will miss you all dearly.

Should you know anyone that would be interested in purchasing the business please forward them the below message.
