Boulder Staple Connor O’Neill’s Makes a Quick Return

The freakout over the shutter of this beloved spot is over

Facebook

The sadness was palpable among fans of Connor O'Neill's Irish Pub as its owner announced that he was shuttering the Boulder institution. Last week, in a fit of desperation, a petition was circulated to save the watering hole that was supposed to close for good on October 2.

All is well that ends well though. Owners of the spot located at 1922 13th Street announced on Facebook earlier this week that they're reopening.

"We are thrilled to announce that thanks to an amazing outpouring of community support Conor O'Neill's will be reopening very soon! We truly could not have done this without the people of Boulder, thank you for coming together to help us beat the odds and for showing us that we are one of Boulders beloved small businesses."

That "very soon" part is actually happening today for the seventeen year old business. Go get your pint of Guiness and toast its quick revival.
