The second location of Uno Màs Taqueria opened its doors to the public this weekend at 6th and Clarkson in the space that last housed $5 Buck Drinkery until September. Just like its original counterpart on Old South Pearl Street, the restaurant centers around elevated street tacos, plus some 70+ small batch tequilas.
Mackinzie's, a new neighborhood bar and eatery owned by Debbie Rens, launched quietly in the Jefferson Park neighborhood earlier this fall.The space that most recently housed Amass at 2240 Clay Street got a cosmetic makeover and now serves wines from all over the world as well as craft cocktails, beer, and a small food menu. It is open all days but Mondays from 4 p.m. to midnight.
