Three years after the launch of the Uptown spot, a second location of chef and restaurateur Mary Nguyen's all-day bakery, café, and eatery will open in January as Olive & Finch at 3390 E. 1st Avenue.
The new Olive & Finch is larger in size and more expansive in its menu and catering offerings than the original. Inside, guests have 2500 square feet of sleek space, seating for 68 with wood, tile metal and other elegantly casual finishes. There will also be a quiet side-street patio with 1800 sf of space, seating an additional 50 guests.
Diners can expect to see more versions of chef Nguyen's breakfast skillets, sandwiches and salads in addition to a menu of larger, bistro-type fare for heartier appetites. Think dishes like shakshuka, flatbreads, hearty steak salads and a seasonal pasta, everything scratch made, chef-driven and healthfully considered dishes. The menus are designed to offer something for everyone all day long, from breakfast to brunch to dinner, with a generous and energetic happy hour every day from 3 to 6 p.m.
Pastries and sweets, coffee and juices in keeping with the grab-and-go, casual vibe that's at the heart of Olive & Finch will also be offered. The Cherry Creek outpost will also include wedding and custom cakes, perfect for grabbing on the go or reserving months ahead of time.
