As the holiday season gets in full swing, some kitchens close to give their employees well-earned time off to be spent with families and loved ones.
Potager has already closed its doors for winter vacation and will reopen again on Thursday, January 5 at 5:30 p.m.
Govinda's Garden Café originally closed on December 17 because of frozen pipes. The owners decided to remain closed though the new year to welcome their grandchild. A message from the owners included this:
"Our youngest son & wife are expecting their first child any day now! Please bless them with your prayers and well wishes. We will be closed during these first few weeks of baby 's birth to support our family. We will re-open to serve you in the New Year. on Weds. Jan 4th."
Colt & Gray will shutter for three nights only from December 24 through the 26. In preparation for this closure, the LoHi restaurant and bar will host a party. The annual Drink the Bar Dry will take place on December 23 when Colt & Gray will welcome bartender alum Brian Claudio Smith for a guest shift. There will be drink and kitchen specials.
As we learn about more seasonal closures, we'll update this post. If you have information to pass along, send a message down the tipline.
