On the heels of being named among the top steakhouses in the country by Travel + Leisure, Urban Farmer confirmed a fourth location coming to Denver in 2017. Sage Restaurant Group co-founder Peter Karpinski shared that the modern steakhouse will open in the Mile High City, but held back on the exact location of the popular concept for now.

The restaurant is opening "in a luxury downtown Denver hotel," as a job posting for executive chef for the coming attraction listed in the fall. Sage Hospitality, the well-established hotel group counterpart to the restaurant group, is in the process of building one such hotel, The Maven, which happens to have an extra yet-to-be-announced restaurant space. Set at 18th and Wazee on the redeveloped Dairy Block, The Maven will be home to a second location of Kachina Southwestern Grill and very likely Urban Farmer.

The original eight year old Urban Farmer in downtown Portland is located in the Nines hotel, which also features the original Departure. The pan-Asian concept came to Cherry Creek earlier this year with great success. Set on redefining the modern steakhouse through simple straightforward preparations, a country-chic décor and environment, and responsibly sourced ingredients, Urban Farmer has opened locations in Cleveland and Philadelphia. The Denver one should be here in the early summer.
