Voicebox, a Portland-based company offering private suite karaoke, is coming to Denver's hot RiNo neighborhood. For this first out-of-state location, founder Scott Simon chose a 4,500 square-foot space set at 2601 Walnut Street, next door to Biju's Little Curry House, Park Burger, and Osaka Ramen. The space will be designed by LIV Studio.

This is not your mom's karaoke bar: Through a proprietary technology developed by the Oregon-based company, guests can make a playlist and "favorite" songs in advance of their suite reservation. When they arrive, that list will automatically populate in their suite, where they can control lights and song selection directly from a smartphone.

When it opens this summer, Voicebox will bring 10 private suites, a central bar area, and creative on-the-go food and drinks. Chef Jensen Cummings of Fortune Cookie Concepts was brought on to build the food and beverage programs. His menu will include skewers, dips, and sandwiches, including easy catering options for a variety of occasions.
