Trinity Grille, a restaurant that has opened in Downtown Denver in 1982, has closed its doors on Saturday, February 13, Westword reported. A hot spot in its early days, the dark-hued restaurant offered classics like wedge salads, crab cakes, steak frites, and an ahi burger.
Owner Tom Walls, who also helmed the Rocky Mountain Diner at 800 18th Street until its 2011 shutter, plans to focus on his other restaurant, Castle Cafe at 403 Wilcox Street in Castle Rock, as well as Next Door, the bar next door to the fried-chicken fiefdom. A new eatery will replace Trinity Grille.
