Family-owned La Loma restaurant announced earlier this month that it will leave its home in Jefferson Park and will open an outpost in Downtown Denver. The exact location remained undisclosed at that time, as it was to replace an existing restaurant. That restaurant turned out to be Trinity Grille, a Downtown institution that has been operating since 1982 and shuttered last weekend.
Tex-Mex eatery La Loma will open in the space located at 1801 Broadway in April, the Denver Post reported. Owner Mark Brinkerhoff plans to grow the four decade old business by adding a new flagship location near the Denver Aquarium, a Castle Rock location, and also a wood-fired grill sister spot, Sierra Grill, in the RidgeGate community.
