On Friday afternoon, after hitting the slopes in Aspen, famed chef Eric Rippert of three-Michelin-starred spot Le Bernadin, was chilling on the patio at Ajax Tavern. The New York City-based chef whose resume includes judging shows like Bravo's Top Chef, a variety of appearances on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, and publishing several cookbooks including his latest Avec Eric, was enjoying some apres-ski snacks on the sunny patio.
Ajax Tavern is part of the legendary hotel The Little Nell. The posh hotel's other restaurant, Element 47, was just named as a semi-finalist for Outstanding Wine Program by the James Beard Foundation.
