WASH PARK – Wine and beer dinners have become quite prolific, but a whiskey-paired dinner is still a thing of novelty. Blackbird Public House is hosting a Jameson whiskey dinner tonight from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. For $45 per person, diners will enjoy five Irish-inspired, whiskey-paired courses over the span of three hours. BOULDER – There is a golden and rare opportunity afoot at Mateo Restaurant Provencal in Boulder on Thursday, February 25. Etienne de Montille, owner and winemaker of Burgundy estate Domaine de Montille, will join diners for a coursed meal, paired with rare vintages and newer releases from her estate. Cost for the unique wine dinner is $265 per person for five courses of delicate French cuisine and fine wine pairings. Seating will begin at five and reservations will be required.
