The Denver outpost of the Edwards-based Crazy Mountain Brewery is officially open for business. Beers and barbecue abound at the brand new tap room, brewery, and eatery, which set up shop in the former Breckenridge Brewing space at 471 Kalamath Street.
Behind this exciting new venture with Crazy Mountain Brewery is fellow Vail Valley-based business, Group970. The restaurant group brings the concept of Texas style barbecue to the table here, which chef Jay McCarthy executes. As for the beers, there are 24 on tap at all times, including Crazy Mountain mainstays, rotating seasonals, and guest taps.
Fun Fact: Breckenridge Brewery left behind a 2.5 ton meat-holding smoker, for which there is currently a naming contest happening. Get down to the new beer and barbecue joint to help name the smoker, enjoy killer happy hour deals, and drink lots of beer. Opening hours are 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily.
