Nearly two decades old, the Palm restaurant in Downtown Denver has closed to get a much needed facelift. The demolition is in process and by the end of April, the spot known as a staple for wheelers and dealers will emerge with a larger dining room, a bigger and more modern bar area, plus more booths and high top tables.
A signature of the restaurant, both in Denver and in the other 24 U.S cities where the chain operates, is fun caricatures of regulars and famed guests on its walls. This remodel will affect some of the existing ones but the restaurant promises that they will be replaced with fresh new ones so no one feels left in the construction dust.
