Genessee Coffee Shutters in Congress Park

The Congress Park outpost of Genessee Coffee, located at 1200 Clayton Street, has shuttered for good. A sign on the door informs guests that the shop was sold and that the DTC location remains open.

Last May, Genessee defected its Dazbog Coffee franchise and switched gears at both this location and a downtown location that has since closed. Since then, Genessee brought to the neighborhood goods from Denver's City Bakery, and the coffee drinks prepared with beans from local roasters Corvus and Novo.
