Gluten-free beer lovers rejoice: Holidaily Brewing Company is open for business in Golden. The brewery and tap room, brainchild of owner Karen Hertz, is located in a newly renovated 3,000-square-foot space set at 801 Brickyard Circle.
Hertz, who follows a strict gluten-free diet as a result of serious health problems, launched her business to offer beer lovers plagued with a celiac diagnosis, gluten sensitivity, or just an interest in reducing gluten intake a safe beer that also tastes great. Only gluten-free grains are used in the process and a custom brewing system designed for brewing with these grains is in place, so guests don't have to fear cross contamination.
The flagship beer at Holidaily is the Favorite Blonde, available in the tap room and soon to be distributed locally. Other current offerings include the Riva Stout and the Fat Randy's IPA. The tap room is open Thursday through Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
