Vietti Winery Dinner with Luca Currado

When: Wednesday, March 2, 6 p.m. Where: Barolo Grill, 3030 E. 6th Ave. What: A five-course meal at Barolo Grill will be served alongside wines from the highly acclaimed Vietti Winery. The wine producer from the Italian winery, Luca Currado, will be joining the meal to lead guests on a wine journey. The wine dinner is $220 per person.

Wine N' Catz

When: Friday, March 4, 5 - 9 p.m.
Where: Denver Cat Company, 3929 Tennyson St.
What: A wine-drinking event with a feline flair. This cat community-building event is back by popular demand - it costs $5 at the door and includes wine all around and the bonus of watching cats get drunk on "Pinot Meow," a wine for cats.

14th Annual Boulder Strong Ale Fest

When: Saturday, March 5, 12 - 5 p.m. Where: Avery Brewing Company, 4910 Nautilus Ct., Boulder
What: One of the biggest beer drinking events in the state, and we mean that quite literally. Strong Ale Fest only accepts beers above 8% ABV, from the top breweries in the land.
Additional Information: Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online, including 16 pours and a commemorative glass.

Cochon 555

When: Sunday, March 6, 5 p.m.
Where: Ritz Carlton, 1881 Curtis St. What: The must-see food event will bring five local chefs, five heritage breed pigs and five winemakers together to compete for the "Prince of Porc" crown. The winner goes on to compete at Grand Cochon at Aspen Food & Wine in June. Tickets are $125 or $200 for VIP.

Laphroaig Portfolio Tasting

When: Monday, March 7, 7 p.m.
Where: Finn's Manor, 2927 Larimer St. What: An exclusive event for scotch lovers, the tasting will welcome Master Ambassador Simon Brooking of Whiskey Magazine for an earthy, peaty voyage into the scotches of the Laphroaig distillery alongside food pairings. Men Who Cook

When: Saturday, March 12, 6 - 9 p.m. Where: Galvanize, 1062 Delaware St. What: The 3rd annual Men Who Cook event features dishes from local Denver chefs, a full cash bar and auction. Tickets are $50 apiece or two for $90.

Ototo Sake Dinner

When: Tuesday, March 15, 6 p.m. Where: Ototo, 1501 S. Pearl St.
What: This is a tasting event featuring expertly executed Japanese dishes from Ototo's kitchen alongside sakes hand-picked by Chef Owner Toshi Kizaki. There will also be an educational session on sake prior to the six course meal, all for $100 a ticket.

Monthly Cheese Class: Alpine Cheeses

When: Monday, March 21
Where: Cured, 2019 10th St., Boulder What: This cheesy and educational monthly installment is taught by one of Colorado's most expert cheesemongers, Jessica Beer. This month's edition focuses on cheeses of Alpine regions, namely the Swiss and French Alps. Classes are $55 per person and capped at ten students.

Cultured Food Cocktail Party

When: Tuesday, March 22, 6:30 - 9 p.m. Where: Duo Restaurant, 2413 W. 32nd Ave.
What: This fermented foods featured cocktail hour is brought to you by the Cultured Food Guild and will offer appetizers from such local hot spots as Rebel Restaurantl, Il Porcellino Salumi, Mondo Market and other local purveyors, alongside cocktails made with fermented ingredients. Owen Roe Winemaker's Dinner

When: Wednesday, March 23, 7:30 p.m. Where: Linger, 2030 W. 30th Ave.
What: This limited production tasting event at Linger will host winemakers David O'Reilly and Owen Roe for an intimate evening tinged with wine. Cost is $70 per attendee.
