BOULDER — Tonight, March 21, Frasca Food & Wine hosts Napa Valley's Freemark Abbey with winemaker Ted Edwards. Remarkable for the style of "winegrowing," Edwards and Freemark Abbey prioritize the quality of the fruit as a chef would ingrediants for a dish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah wines will be available at the four course prix fixe dinner at $50 per person. Optional wine pairings range between $40 and $50. Walk ins are welcome.
AURORA — Dry Dock Brewery reunites with The Truffle Cheese Shop for beer and cheese pairings Monday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are available at the South Dock tasting room for $25 and include four beer pours and four cheese portions. Arrive early to get tickets at the door.
LOHI— Highland Tap is hosting a Left Hand Brewing Beer Dinner Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. to begin Colorado Craft Beer Week. The five course beer and food pairing, featuring a welcome beer and passed appetizers, will be presented by a Left Hand representative and described by Highland Tap's chef Eli. The Chinese-inspired menu will feature Kalbi eel and Hoisin braised goat matched with Wicked JuJu Imperial Herb/Spice Ale and Wake Up Dead Russian Imperial Stout amongst other varieties. Tickets open to the public are set at $60 and can be purchased online.
LODO— On Tuesday, March 22, Ratio Beerworks, New Belgium Brewing, Call to Arms Brewing Company, and Avery Brewing Company are joining Star Bar in Collaboration Karaoke for Colorado's Craft Beer Week.
