Denver's Belgian beer enthusiasts have awaited patiently in the many months of downtime between the late October shuttering of the 2401 Blake Street taproom, and the reopening of a new taproom at 6021 Washington Street On April 2, the wait is officially over as the new brewery will host its grand reopening party.
In the interim period, the River North Brewery team has been hard at work putting together the many different aspects of building a brewery from the ground up. Fermentation tanks of a greater capacity have been installed at the new location, 16 draft lines went in, artistic design elements have been added to the space, and Belgian brews await patiently in their various barrels for consumption.
Dedicated regulars from the original River North will surely ring in the April 2 reopening date merrily. Both rare and mainstay beers will be flowing, tours of the new digs by the brewery's founders will be offered, and food trucks will be bringing the heat all day long. On Saturday, April 2 the shiny new taproom will be open from 12 to 10 p.m., and on Sunday, April 3, hours will be from 12 - 7 p.m.
