Sunnyside's porky spot Bacon Social House received three out of four stars from the Denver Post. Reviewer Bill Porter called the room "spiffy" and seemed to enjoy the general hog-centric slant to the dishes created by chef Brian Crow. The bacon hash and the Costa Rica Benedict were winners. For those seeking a break from swine, Porter suggested the "excellent poultry item [...] an "airline cut" of roasted chicken â a breast with the first joint of the wing attached â with prosciutto, sage, Gouda and potato rösti, the national spud dish of Switzerland."
Food, service, and ambiance all received three stars at Roadhouse Boulder Depot in a recent review from the Daily Camera. A historic 1890's structure, the building that houses the casual Boulder restaurant was retrofitted to blend old and new and provide guests with a comfortable environment where the food menu is a combination of comfort and bar classics. Portions are large and musts include the hazelnut fish 'n chips.
