Menya Noodle Bar, a Japanese restaurant that brings sushi, ramen, and tapas is now open at 951 16th Street. Simple in its decor with Japanese accents throughout the space and an open kitchen, Menya is a casual modern izakaya, a place where guests can grab a bite in a relaxed non-pretentious setting.
There are several kinds of ramen bowls offered, priced between $8.25 and $10.25, a couple of bowls like the fried rice one, and a wide variety of Japanese tapas ranging from shumai to shishito peppers, and chicken kara age.
The new spot, which is open daily for lunch and dinner, is owned by restaurateur JW Lee who also runs Wasabi Roll & Go close to DU, Menya Sushi Bar in Greenwood Village, and Wasabi Sushi Bar in Lakewood.
