RiNo's hot spot Hop Alley received three stars (out of four) in the latest Denver Post review. Impressed with the offal-rich Husband & Wife salad, critic Bill Porter shared that he enjoyed hot and sour potatoes, the Beijing duck roll, and the Suan Ni pork chop. Porter shared this pro tip: Order the "yen tsai along with your entrees. This is a daily selection of pickled vegetables, presented in a glass jar. One recent visit saw a mix of puckery peppers, cucumbers and red cabbage."
Rebel Restaurant was the focus of the 5280 Magazine review in its March issue. Critic Scott Mowbray found the RiNo eatery to be friendly and appreciated the "quirky roadhouse design" as well as the "hefty servings of inventive food." He called the energy of busy night "genial" and the carrot enchilada "brilliant." The spot helmed by chefs Dan Lasiy and Bo Porytko earned two and a half stars and plenty of compliments.
