A new brewery and tap room from childhood friend Willy Truettner and T.J. Slattery is coming to LoHi, BusinessDen reported. The duo, who met in middle school science class, leased a former 3,500-square-foot garage at 29th and Zuni.

There will be staples for the brews German-, Belgian- and American-style beers lower in alcohol by volume (ABV) to allow for an easy-drinking enjoyable experience. Truettner and Slattery will also host one-off workshops and weekly classes for home brewers.

The new spot plans a November opening.
