Let the Tequila and Sake Flow This Tuesday

Taco Tuesday, a sake tasting and movie screening, and a social happy hour are on today's agenda

RINO AND LONGMONT —  By popular demand, both locations of modern Mexican cantina Comida in RiNo and Longmont are hosting a Taco Tuesday. The casual eateries are offering your choice of three tacos and a margarita for $15 dollars, every Tuesday of the week from open until close.

HIGHLANDSThe Bon Vivants hosts Laidback at The Way Back with Tomas Estes for an afternoon of tequila, food, and friends. Starting at 3 p.m., indulge in Tequila Ocho cocktails, samples of Ocho expressions, and food from the Wayback. Stop by after - or before - work for a fun and relaxed afternoon.

EAST COLFAX — Join the Denver Film Society at the Sie Film Center for the Denver premiere of The Birth of Sake, a documentary featuring the 144 year-old family-owned Yoshida Brewery in Northern Japan. Enjoy a sake taste before the film and a Q & A session followed by treats from Komotodo. Tickets range from $40 - $50 and check out their event page to see pricing.

LOHIDenver Deep Dish in LoHi hosts SUNI Slippers for an evening that is part happy hour, part socialization, and part forum. Dig into cheesy bread bites and baked pretzels while awaiting special free apps and gift card giveaways April 12 at 6 p.m.
