Pickle Party, Earth Day Celebration, and a Moroccan Feast

These are the six events you shouldn't miss this weekend

The Dillery

BAKER — Celebrate the release of the new Thai Chili Ginger pickle with The Dillery at the Pickle Party on Friday, April 15. The Thai-inspired menu features contributions from the Mile High Food Truck, Ratio Beerworks, and live music from Denver's Raritans. Sample Dillery products will be available to buy and drinks are free (donations are suggested). All proceeds from the event will be donated to Re:vision, a Westwood non-profit.

BOULDERPeggy Markel and the Food Lab hosts A Feast for the Senses: A Night in Morocco cooking class on April 15. For $95, learn to prepare an authentic Moroccan meal complete with a demonstration concluding with a sit-down dinner paired with wine. BOULDER— Downtown Boulder's Taste of Pearl returns for a seventh year of commemorating the eclectic foodie  scene. On April 17 at 2 p.m. - rain, snow, or shine, Downtown Boulder Inc partners with restaurants like Flagstaff House, Frasca Food & Wine, and SALT the Bistro along with Art + Soul Gallery, Ku Cha House of Tea and others. General admission tickets are still available for $65 here. If tickets are still available the day of the event, they may be purchased in person beginning at 12:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall. The ticket price includes food samples and wine tastings from all participating restaurants and wineries, a keepsake wine glass, and a reusable wine plate amongst other goodies.

LONGMONT— Celebrate Earth Day April 16 with Sustainable Revolution as they host the Youth of the Earth Day at the Longmont Farmers Market. Enjoy the festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with activities focused on Mother Earth and education.

ARVADA — On Saturday, April 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. join the Arvada Tavern for the Women and Whiskey Social. Indulge in specialty cocktails featuring Gentleman Jack, hors d'oeuvres, plus beauty and fashion services. RSVP at squadup.com/GJWW416. ASPEN— Mourn the end of ski season and celebrate Aspen Mountain's last day on Sunday, April 17 for La Ultima Fiesta from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Aspen Highlands. The event features a taco bar, margaritas, beer, a Mariachi band, and giveaways. Entrance is $45 with an all-inclusive wristband or you can pay for drinks and food a la carte.
