Natural wine is a hot trend and Denver is getting a whole slew of events centered around it very soon. From Monday, April 18 through Sunday, April 24, the Natural Wine Company along with Harvest Wine Co., Volio Vino, Unity Selections will host a range of tastings, dinners, and menu pairings where guests can sample organic, sustainable, and biodynamic wines from around the world. Some 29 events will engage restaurants, bars, winemakers, wine importers, and retailers committed to highlighting natural wines.

The first two days of the week bring some nine events including dinners at Table 6, Mercantile Dining & Provision, and the Populist.

Among the highlights on Wednesday, April 20 is the Grand Wine Showcase starting at 5 p.m. at the RiNo Yacht Club, a Natural Wine 101 Seminar at 6 p.m., plus two wine dinners at Bittersweet and To The Wind.

Six events will take place on Thursday, April 21, including an in-store tasting with Scott Thomasen at Bottle Shop 33 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a Wine Dive takeover at Star Bar from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A veritable storm of tastings occupy Friday and Saturday. Featured hosts include Twin Peaks Liquor in Longmont, Cask & Craft in LoHi, and Mondo Vino in the Highland. Sunday concludes Natural Wine Week with an oyster and grower Champagne Closing Party starting at 7 p.m.
