World of Beer, a growing craft beer tavern chain, plans to debut into the Boulder beer scene, the Denver Post reported. The outpost is set in an extensive 3,800 square-foot space featuring a 700 square-foot patio at 921 Pearl Street. Emphasizing both global and local beers, the tavern will offer 500 bottles and 50 rotating taps daily.
Local breweries slated to be on the menu include Avery Brewing Company, Sanitas Brewing Company and West Flanders Brewing Company from the Boulder area and Wibby Brewing from Longmont. Additionally, a stainless steel infusion tower will incorporate various fruits, coffee, and herbs into the brews to create an unique craft beer experience.
The tavern will offer a classic bar menu with a twist and include dishes like Guinness "Brat" sliders and a veggie hummus wrap. Sundays will host "BEERunch" and offer specials such as the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich with bacon onion jam sandwiched between bacon-infused Belgium waffles.
The official opening date for the Boulder location is yet to be finalized.
