Williams & Graham will be gone as you know it for four nights and its space will become Trick Dog. From Thursday, May 5 through Sunday, May 8, the skilled bartenders at the LoHi speakeasy will take their annual staff vacation, this time visiting rum-friendly Nicaragua. While they are gone, three bartender friends from San Francisco's celebrated Trick Dog will bring their own menus, music, reservation policy, and vibe.
"Our company trip includes anyone who has been with us for a year," Williams & Graham proprietor Sean Kenyon said. "This year, that is most of our staff so we asked our friends at Trick Dog to lend a hand and take over. We will be visiting Flor de Cana and staying in a resort in Nicaragua while they bring their own cocktails, door policy, and atmosphere into our space," he continued.
Trick Dog opened Monday January 7, 2013 in the Mission district of San Francisco and it is the brainchild of rock star bartenders Josh Harris and Scott Baird of The Bon Vivants. The bar was a finalist for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program last year and a semi-finalist for the same award this year. Trick Dog was also recognized as having the Best American Bar team at the Spirited Awards in 2014 and in 2015 was listed among four finalists for World's Best Cocktail Menu and Best American Cocktail Bar, an award that Williams & Graham brought to Denver.
During the bar's pop up in Denver, guests will be accommodated first come, first served.
