Snarf's Turns 20, Plans Expansion and Dishes Golden Tickets

Grab yourself a sandwich now and you may get free subs for a whole year

Two decades of business are reason to celebration for our over-toasted friends at Snarf's! Now a popular sandwich chain, Snarf's originally opened in 1996 in a dilapidated, 600-square-foot space in Boulder. It has since grown to 450 team members and 20 storefronts from Chicago to St. Louis and Austin.

Locally, Snarf's will soon expand its busy Capitol Hill location at 11th Avenue and Ogden Street, from 1,400 square feet to 3,000 square feet, having recently taken over the laundromat in the small strip mall next door. The team is also planning to add its burger concept, Snarfburger alongside, sharing the prep area with the sandwich-making side. Set to be completed by end of the year, this would be the first Snarfburger in Denver, with one small burger concept in Boulder, complete with a grill, fryer and custard machine.

Eight to ten new stores are also planned in the Front Range over the next 2-3 years, along with new locations in the Texas, St. Louis and Chicago markets. Later this spring, a fourth Boulder Snarf's will open at 627 S. Broadway Street.

Now and until June 15, Snarf's is thanking guests with a Willy Wonka-inspired surprise. Golden Tickets will be wrapped in Snarf's sandwiches to be found by unassuming customers. The winner of each golden ticket will receive free Snarf's for one year.
