The ever-hot and busy Avanti Food & Beverage, a collective eatery and restaurant incubator concept home to places like Mijo, Pizzeria Brava, and Quiero Arepas, is switching up a couple of tenants as it approaches its first anniversary.

Later this month, Portland-based Bamboo Sushi, a certified-sustainable sushi restaurant, will launch inside the food hall. Its menu includes sashimi, nigiri, and signature and traditional rolls, as well as Japanese inspired small plates and salads. It will sit on the second floor, replacing Farmer Girl.

In July, chef Kevin Grossi, formerly of Lola, will bring his new concept, The Regional, to Avanti. The playful casual eatery will bring iconic American regional cuisine like shrimp 'n grits, porchetta sandwiches, and clam rolls to the mix. Poco Torteria is exiting Avanti, making room for The Regional.
