Crooked Stave Launches New Brew; 1515 Hosts Four-Course Paired Dinner

Plus Oceanaire adds seasonal specialties and the Nickel showcases beer and wine pairings on Thursday

DOWNTOWN — Check out the Oceanaire Seafood Room's seasonal menu additions. Specials include Pan-Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Charred Spanish Octopus made from fresh seafood flown in from all over the world.

LODO — 1515 Restaurant hosts a four-course pairing dinner on Wednesday, May 11. Dishes including black garlic bisque, escargot ragout, and braised buffalo short ribs will be served along specialty cocktails and spirits. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and costs $55 per person. RINO Crooked Stave celebrates the launch of the L'Brett d'Raspberry, a Golden Sour Ale aged in Oak Barrles with raspberries, on Wednesday at its taproom at the Source. The tasting and festivities begin at 5 p.m.

DOWNTOWN — Beer and wine go head to head at The Nickel's three-course paired dinner on Thursday. Compare a variety of wines from Estate Brands Distributing Co. and select beers from Crazy Mountain Brewing along with rich dishes like crab cake with smoked hollandaise and apple pie with cheddar cheese ice cream. The event begins at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.
