For the first time in 15 years, New Belgium Brewing has expanded its Fort Collins tasting room, adding a second indoor bar as well as an outdoor beer garden and pouring station. The revamped tasting room, or Liquid Center, features an additional 1,600 square feet, including the second bar with eight tap handles and a stage for musical acts.
Outside, beer flows from an airstream trailer, equipped with four taps and parked in a former parking lot, which has been planted with grass and dotted with outdoor seating. The new beer garden is spread across two outdoor areas and features two fire pits as well as a rolle bolle (Belgian shuffleboard) court.
Construction continues at New Belgium on a 13,500 square-foot office expansion and onsite medical facility slated for completion later this summer. Brewery tours are given from 11:30 to 4:30 every half hour throughout the week. Guests can reserve space on a tour online.
