Sampling for Hope

When: Thursday, June 2, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Westin Hotel Downtown, 16th and Lawrence 
What: The second annual fundraising event brings together some of Denver's best culinary minds for a casual evening of delicious fare. Guests vote for their favorite restaurant dish of the evening. Bonus: a great silent auction. 
Additional Information: All proceeds will benefit SafeHouse. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased online.

Union Station Farmers Market

When: Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Denver Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop Street
What: The new market launches with a morning ribbon cutting followed by vegetable tastings, Market Bucks giveaways, a cooking demo from Beast + Bottle, and goods from 40 local vendors. The market will continue weekly through October 22.

Gin: More than Tonic's Mate

When: June 7 at 6 p.m.
Where: The Crimson Room, 1403 Larimer Street
What: The Crimson Room's June cocktail class will focus on all things gin to prepare participants to make their own specialty cocktails for World Gin Day on June 11. Mixologists AJ Snowhite and Drew Howell will teach gin enthusiasts to mix like a pro.

The Kitchen Rosé Wine Dinner

When: June 9
Where: The Kitchen Denver, 1530 16th Street
What: Join the Kitchen Denver for a relaxing summer evening on the patio at a paired rosé wine dinner. Thomas Monroe from Division Wine Company will be the evening's guest of honor. For a full list of wines, check out their website.

Wings and Whiskey 2016

When: Sunday, June 12 starting at 4 p.m.
Where: Ace, 501 E. 17th Avenue
What: Watch some Denver's best chefs as they compete to become the Wing King or Queen. Hang out on the Ace patio and check out the wing eating competition, whiskey tasting booth, and a bar sponsored by ODell brewing and Southern Wine and Spirits.

Whiskey & Legends: Tullamore D.E.W. Tasting

When: Monday, June 13 at 6 p.m.
Where: Finn's Manor, 2927 Larimer Street
What: The Voice of Whiskey is back with Tullamore DEW brand ambassador Ailsh Egan for an evening of Irish whiskey and Celtic music. Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe will provide paired bites.

Barbeque and Bubbles

When: Tuesday, June 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Oak at Fourteenth, 1400 Pearl Street, Boulder
What: Join Oak at Fourteenth for a refined yet laid back evening of barbecue food and bubbles. Krug champagne is featured on the bubble side.

Cochon 555 US Tour

When: Thursday, June 16 from 5 to 8:30 p.m; Saturday, June 18 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: The Lawn & Hill in Base Village Snowmass in Aspen; Viceroy Snowmass in Aspen
What: Cochon 555's Heritage Fire whole-animal, live fire culinary experience takes over Aspen as 50 chefs prepare nearly 3500 pounds of meat for the masses. The Saturday event features ten chefs from ten different cities competing for the Grand Cochon crown.

Rio Three-O Block Party

When: Saturday, June 18 at 5 p.m.
Where: 143 W Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins
What: Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant thanks the community for the past 30 years of food and laughter with an evening of music and Margaritas. Buddy Guy headlines the party and Doyle Bramhall II, a songwriter known for his work with Eric Clapton and other artists, will also perform. Food and drinks will be available from the Rio Mobile Patio via a ticket system.

Blackberry Farm + Frasca Food & Wine Dinner

When: Monday, June 20, starting at 5 p.m.
Where: Frasca Food & Wine, 1738 Pearl Street, Boulder
What: The Boulder restaurant collaborates with Tennessee's famed Blackberry Farm and winemakers Jordan Salcito and Michael Cruse for a special Monday night dinner series. The winemakers will be in-house to pour and discuss their selections.

A Tribe Called Betts dinner

When: Monday, June 20
Where: Beast + Bottle, 719 E. 17th Avenue 
What: The restaurant teams up with master sommelier Richard Betts for a special dinner. The beverage pairings will riff of A Tribe Called Quest's musical catalogue and take diners across on an international journey to be paired with chef Reilly's menu. The five course meal includes a signed copy of Betts' book, The Essential Scratch and Sniff Guide to Becoming a Wine Expert.

Trve's Fourth Anniversary Bacchanal

When: June 24 through June 26, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily
Where: Hi-Dive Denver, 7 South Broadway
What: Trve Brewing is celebrating its four year anniversary two nights in a row. Friday's festivities feature DANAVA, Cloud Catcher, Alaric, and Blood Incantation while FLOOR, Pueblo Escobar, Matriarch, and Parasitic Death take over on Saturday.
Additional Information: Tickets for individual nights are available at Hi-Dive's website for $20. Two night passes will be sold at Trve Brewing for $30.

Denver Taco Festival

When: June 25 from 12 to 9 p.m.; June 26 from 12 to 7 p.m.
Where: Glitter Dome Event Center, 3600 Wynkoop Street
What: The Denver Taco Festival is back for its third year of summer fun. Sip on tequila samples as you stroll down Tequila Expo Alley or check out the Chihuahua racing competition, hot pepper eating trivia challenge, and live Lucha Libre wrestling. Denver's finest taco makers will serve $2 tacos all day long.

The Keystone Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour

When: June 25 & 26, 1 to 6 p.m. daily
Where: Keystone's River Run Village, 150 Dercum Square, Keystone
What: Sample strips of bacon and bacon-infused dishes along with Colorado brews and whiskies. The event also encompasses the Bacon Whiskey Tour, bacon Bloody Marys, and a bacon eating contest at the Bacon Education Center. Hell's Bells, an all-female AC/DC cover band, returns for a sixth appearance at the festival.
