The real way to know that summer is upon us is the return of Civic Center Eats. The gathering of food trucks and carts has been an annual tradition since 2005 and this year an expanded schedule and larger roster of offerings sweetens the deal even more.
In addition to Tuesdays and Thursdays, now on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through October 6 (some holidays excluded), Civic Center EATS brings together some 30 trucks each day. A total of 79 food trucks with offerings that spread from burgers and tacos to Asian or African cuisine are participating. As always, Civic Center EATS will feature live, local music each day.
